THE PROJECT
THE PROJECT
Movement as
architecture.
The city as a stage.
For the 2026 Rome Marathon, New Balance transformed the historic Corsie Sistine into a running house — a curated space where athletes, brand community, and the city came together around a shared passion for running.
At the heart of the space: a 4×4 metre LED wall. Our brief was to create a visual that could live and breathe within that environment — something that felt cinematic and alive, worthy of the setting and the occasion.
The result is a layered composition shot on 16mm film — a deliberate choice that brings grain, warmth, and a tactile quality to the image. The organic texture of film sits in intentional contrast with the precision of the LED surface, drawing from the textures of Rome, the kinetic rhythm of running, and New Balance's signature blend of performance and culture. Alongside the installation, we produced a 30-second cut for advertising and social — distilling the same energy into a format built for wider reach.
